Rustproofing

Rustproofing treats specific, hard-to-reach places all over your vehicle that are good places for rust to form. This is done by spraying a protective coating all over parts that can easily chip or where moisture can accumulate. These are typically the most exposed areas of the vehicle, such as the fenders, tailgate, upper body panels etc. to keep rust from gaining a foothold.

RUSTPROOFING FAQ:

Rust proofing your vehicle starts at $325. This is for a full spray of all the nooks and crannies where the moisture and chemicals can get inside your vehicle and start the hidden rust spots from the inside out. If you combine the rustproofing with the undercoating the cost is $650.

Generally just one price.  Your vehicle needs to come to us after an under body car wash as been gone thru. If we have to wash off excess debris, TNT will have to charge extra for the job. The only other cost would be if you add other treatments at the same time for package discounts.

Drop off your truck today, and you can pick it up tomorrow. Usually 24 hours is enough time for the treatment to set up.

The product is cured by the time we allow you to pick up your vehicle. However, we ask that you wait 48 hours before going thru any car washes. Simple rain showers won’t harm the product.

ValuGard produces a chemical that slows down the rust and prevents it from spreading further. TNT will first use that product and then apply the under coating and rust proofing. Unlike with brand new vehicles, there will be no warranty with this rust already in existence.

Our technicians have gone through extensive trainings for proper application of all our sprays provided.  Applying the rustproofing requires a clean vehicle. With a specially designed wand, the chemical is sprayed inside the panels and parts that you can not get to with washing and cleaning.
