The TNT Customs rear coilover and lower control arm mounts offer an easy mounting solution for your coilovers and gain you travel with the offset mounting location. Made from USA 1/4 inch steel for superior strength. The lower control arm mounting width is 2.625 and uses a 9/16 bolt”. The coilover mounting width is 1.5 and uses 1/2 bolt”. The mounts are offered in 3 different axle tube sizes, and 3 different angles to really dial in your suspension.
Why does TNT prefer the coilovers on the front side of the axle for the rear? Let’s start with travel, depending on your suspension setup you will see between 2 and 3.5 inches of travel gained due to the mounting location of the coilover moved forward of the axle centerline. this gives the ability to run a smaller coilover package without limiting suspension travel. The improved motion ratio will help with ride quality and driveability. Another reason for mounting in front of the axle is stability. Coilovers mounted behind the axle on downhill descents tend to unload due to mounting location and weight transfer.
